About Blackstone Fire Department

Founded in 1903, the Blackstone Volunteer Fire Department serves eastern Nottoway County with fire, rescue, and medical response. Our 48 members handle hundreds of calls annually. Supported by donations and grants, we’ve modernized equipment and responded to major fires, remaining dedicated to protecting lives and property in our community.
