This unit is the primary response unit for almost all non-medical related calls in the Blackstone area and is considered to be the “Jack of all trades” in its abilities to handle any type of call or incident. This unit carries the tools and basic supplies to deal with a variety of incidents to include: Residential structure fires, Commercial structure fires, Fuel and basic hazardous material spills, Establishing helicopter landing zones, Vehicle incidents, Vehicle fires, Dumpster and rubbish fires, Pressurized gas leaks. This unit also responds to any other incident or call where the cause or circumstances may be unknown at the time the call was dispatched.
